About the Internship

This hands-on, on-site internship offers valuable real-world experience in a cutting-edge laboratory setting. You’ll work alongside industry experts, contributing to critical testing, validation, and R&D projects in medical device reprocessing.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and testing protocols.
• Perform biochemical assays (protein, hemoglobin, carbohydrate, hydrogen peroxide, and endotoxin quantification) using microplate readers and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
• Prepare Artificial Test Soils for medical device validation.
• Execute Class II medical device simulated use cycles and assist in validation projects.
• Verify and calibrate lab equipment following established protocols.
• Maintain lab organization, prepare reagents, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Participate in SCRUM meetings and Lunch & Learn sessions with our team.

Who We’re Looking For

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn about medical device testing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and lab safety guidelines.
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry, biomaterials, biomedical science, or engineering program.
