Operating within a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. medical device reprocessing facility, we support manufacturers in bringing innovative and safe medical devices to market.

About the Internship

This hands-on, on-site internship provides real-world experience in a cutting-edge microbiology laboratory. You’ll work alongside industry experts, contributing to testing, validation, and regulatory compliance projects that impact healthcare worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the development and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and forms.
• Receive, verify, and document samples, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Perform sample preparation and microbiological testing following established protocols.
• Support validation projects related to medical device microbiology.
• Verify and calibrate laboratory equipment according to procedures.
• Prepare and maintain reagents, media, and solutions for laboratory use.
• Ensure proper lab organization, cleanliness, and hazardous waste disposal.
• Participate in daily SCRUM meetings and weekly Lunch & Learn sessions with our team.

Who We’re Looking For

• Motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in microbiology and medical device testing.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), aseptic techniques, and biosafety guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering program.
